2025 Yearly Letter

As we move toward the end of the year, it is important to reflect on the progress made across New Horizon Code and the suite of products we continue to design, develop, and refine. This year marked a period of strong growth, major releases, and significant groundwork that will guide our direction in the years ahead.

A key milestone was the successful launch of Diversity Sync'd, our flagship platform built to modernise compliance, rostering, communication, and operational management within the NDIS and child safety sectors. This release was the result of extensive design work, technical development, and close consultation with organisations in the field. Diversity Sync'd represents a new benchmark for how teams manage their responsibilities, and since launch it has grown to more than four times its original user base. This growth reflects the trust our customers place in us and the real need for a modern solution in this space.

We also expanded the reach and capability of Syrup.dev, which continues to operate as our external product development agency for organisations that want to design and launch software quickly with a strong focus on quality and user experience. Syrup delivered projects for external clients while also supporting internal initiatives, giving New Horizon Code access to a flexible and highly capable design and engineering arm. Its role as an external agency strengthened our presence in the broader market and increased our ability to build, iterate, and innovate at speed.

Another major initiative this year was the full integration of Carey into Diversity Sync'd, which is now in its final stages and will be completed before the end of the year. This work brings two significant systems together into one unified platform. Organisations using Carey will benefit from a more cohesive experience, improved workflows, and a single operational environment that reduces fragmentation and improves efficiency across the board.

We also invested heavily in a complete redesign of the New Horizon Code identity. We refined our brand, updated our interfaces, and elevated the way we communicate our work. The refreshed presentation now aligns with our focus on thoughtful design, high quality engineering, and a consistent vision across every product and customer touchpoint.

This year marked the beginning of a significant shift toward AI-powered product development. We introduced AI features across all of our SaaS platforms and internal systems. These enhancements support smarter automation, improved summaries, faster insights, and new ways for customers to interact with our software. The introduction of AI has already created meaningful improvements and will continue to shape our roadmap throughout the coming year.

Across every product and every team, this year was defined by consolidation, expansion, and strong forward progress. We strengthened our foundations, delivered products that matter, and built the structure required for the next stage of growth.
